TurboProp Beechcraft King Air 200 Series
The Super King Air 200 has the capacity for 1-2 crew members and 13 passengers. The empty weight is 7,755 lb (3,520 kg) and the maximum takeoff weight is 12,500 lb (5670 kg). Cruise speed is 289 knots (333 mph, 536 km/h), stall speed is 75 knots (86 mph, 139 km/h), and the maximum speed is 294 knots (339 mph, 545 km/h). The rate of climb is 2,450 ft/min (12.5 m/s). The 200 and 300 series were originally marketed as the "Super King Air" but the "Super" was dropped in 1996.
In 1969, originally developed as the Model 101, the Model 200 was a development of the Model 100 King Air. The Model 200 features changes to the rear fuselage to accommodate a new T-tail and structural changes to allow higher maximum pressurization. The aircraft is powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-41 engines rated at 1,015 shp.
